Coondapur Education Society was founded in the year 1975. Janab Hazi N. M. Ahmed Kutty was the founder President. Kindergarten classes were started in 1975. Halsnad Madappayya Memorial English Primary School was started in 1976 and V K R Acharya Memorial English High School in 1982.
